Google not indexing 7 (more recently created) pages due to "Redirect error" in Google Search Console
Our weebly website ( interlock.com.sg) has been around since 2016 without major issues. We noticed that the last created 7 weebly pages were not visible to Google search engine. The rest of the pages created since 2016 have no issue.
For example,
If we search by typing: "Aqara A100" site:interlock.com.sg
We will not find the specfic page: interlock.com.sg/A100
It seems to be a recent thing and the recent things we did are : http to https change for the site, and these 7 pages may have been copied from one another and re-edited (instead of starting from scratch).
Under Google Search Console, it will report the indexing error of these 7 web pages to have "Redirect Error". We have done a few things based on what we have learnt:
- We have ( two months ago ) created a Google Search Console "domain" for the website (to catch all http and https variations because we did a http to https change sometime in June 2021). Some people reported this was a likely cause. However, 2 months after this was effected and after multiple request to re-crawl, the 7 pages remains unindexable.
- In Google Search Console, for the affected page/url, if we request to inspect the URL and test the live URL , it works. "Request indexing" at this time will put the request on a queue but the problems remain after a few weeks).
- We have also submitted multiple times the sitemaps and this does not fix the issue after waiting for a few weeks.
We are not html coders. What would you suggest that we try next to skip (bypass) the problem instead of fixing weebly generated elements of existing pages.
Willing to try suggestions. Thanks in advance.
