Custom Contributor URL is not secure

I have had a problem with Weebly Designer - the Contributor Login URL has never been secure. I have a CNAME setup correctly as per the instructions, however the URL never seems to get an SSL certificate. Surely in 2021 our clients are not supposed to face a non secure login URL?

Hi @slimf I believe this happens if you have an extra "." in the login portal address. Are you using the full domain name in the login? i.e. yoursitename.com.loginportal.site?

Hi Im using a custom domain - login.example.com setup as a CNAME to www.weeblycloud.com as per: https://www.weebly.com/app/help/us/en/topics/set-up-your-portal-address

Where is your domain registered, and can you post a screenshot of the DNS settings?

After chatting with Bernadette and then to live chat support, it turns out Weebly is living in the last decade and doesn't support SSL's on white-labelled contributor URL's. I cannot fathom how ridiculous this is in 2021. I will not place another client onto the Weebly platform.
