Cannot figure out how to create and share a facebook thumbnail

Hi, very newbie here. First website and no HTML/CSS experience. 

When I share my website on to facebook, there is no image that comes across. I've read and tried to follow multiple directions but nothing is working. Is someone able to share beginner level, step by step directions as to how to do this?

It is super frustrating to have a beautiful website and a very subpar facebook appearance.

I checked the link you provided in the Facebook Debugger tool, and I do see a nice inspirational image that should show up when you share a link. Did you already sort this out, or do you still need assistance?
