batch deleting

There needs to be a better way to delete information from the form than one "red" "x" at a time.  Batch deleting in the column would be greatly appreciated.

I, too, would love to know if there is a way. I have an online community paper and stories get broken up into sections with photos (to give it an attractive layout). When it's out of date I have to delete the story section (and photo) by section. Unlike, say, Microsooft Publsher or Word where you can box a whole section and delete it. Looking forward to this answer in anticipation.
