I thought there was an option for this before, I'm not sure what happend to it, or maybe it was just restricted to certain themes. But anyway, my suggestion is to put an option for mobile view for mobiles to be viewed as if the user was using a desktop. As I design my site I feel it only looks is best if viewed in desktop. The mobile version is very simplifed with not many options for design, so I prefer is just stays ture to the desktop view anyways.
