I am very upset as a long-time Weebly customer. I have two sites using your services. On one, I used an outside source to register a domain name. I just recently used the link provided by Weebly to purchase the domain for the other. Since using the link provided by Weebly, my phone and email have been inundated with calls and emails for design services, advertising products, etc. from outside companies. I do not appreciate that my work email and personal phone number is sent to countless services that I have no desire to use.

I'm sorry for the frustration. Did you add domain privacy to the domain name? Adding this service will prevent your information from showing in the public whois database. The whois database is like a phone book for domain names.

I forgot to add that you can add privacy by clicking the Domains tab in your account. If you scroll down you will see the option to add privacy to the domain name.
