PLEASE FIX ASAP-check out error says that delivery unavailable for addresses we deliver to

Hello,

If a person has been to our site before and put in their delivery address and then empties their cart and closes the site to return later they get the following error message at check out "Sorry, delivery isn't available for this address. Add or edit delivery address to continue."

This is not good. People are confused and have turned away from checking out. I will clarify that if I test it on my end I initially am able to use my address but if I do the above and leave the site and return I get this error. I'm attaching a picture here. 

We are looking to migrate everything to Shopify if this isn't fixed asap.image

Thanks for posting about this, @Solisretail. Just so I understand the steps involved, you're doing the following:

1. Visit the site, enter an address for delivery

2. Add some items to the cart for delivery

3. Remove items from the cart

4. Close the browser tab or navigate a way to a different website

5. Visit your website again

6. Add items to the cart without needing to re-enter a delivery address

7. Error message shows

Is this correct?

Adam,  It seems that this happens when ever the address is prepopulating.  If you just retype the last few characters to refresh the screen, it will validate the address and accept it.  This haunts me daily, so I will trey to get detail on the customers account, and detail as many of the different scenerios that it happens.  I also thought that this has become a known bug, and hoping it is a priority.  Not sure how many customers give up.  It had been our friends that have been calling us daily.

Are you still having trouble with that, @apothecaryar? I tested entering in an address in the same city as you and it didn't give me any messages about delivery not being available.

Yes I am.

Maybe it is only with repeat customers. But I have had two customers tell me the same thing AND I cannot even place an order to my own address.

Please help me fix this. Thank you.

I'm having the same issue.  Trying to get up and running for the first time, but I can't get past this problem.  I set the delivery area to 100 miles, but only get the "Sorry, delivery isn't available to this address" no matter what address I put in there.   lacremechefs.com

I would also contact our support team, @LaCreme, and let them know the addresses you are trying to use with delivery.
