Location of sidebar

This is a little thing, and of course personal preference, but I'd find the sidebar (with all the categories, top authors, and quick links) more comfortable & natural on the right side instead of the left.

Interesting! I think the standard convention is categories and navigation on the left, additional information or details on the right.  Out of curiousity, are you left-handed or right-handed?

Right handed.

I'm not completely sure that the issue is that it's on the left, but when I initially saw the homepage it was a little disorienting for some reason. Now that I think about it, I don't have that problem with the dev site. Possibly something with it being positioned with white space above it, content it's aligned with, or the spacing of the items in the sidebar. Can't quite put my finger on it.

Ahh, thanks for clarifying. I'm also right-handed, but my brother is left-handed and often approached things in a reverse way.
