Facebook Conversions API
Does anyone know how or has done the integration of Facebook's New Conversion API? I just got off the phone with our FB rep and he said Shopify has a simple button you click to turn it on but Weebly has no such thing and we'll have to try and integrate ourselves.
This is a major thing as apple rolls out their new ios, we're told if we don't implement this ASAP our return on FB advertising will go to almost zero.
Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Great question, @Tim12.
I'm not familiar with the newer API, but I expect that adding it is done in pretty much the same way you add the older API. It's probably just a matter of getting updated code to use with each of the three fields in your checkout settings.

It's not, this new API works directly with the server and not the browser. You need an "Access Token" or something like that. I'm told that if Weebly doesn't intergrate (which they won't beceause they never do) we'll have to hire a IT company to do this as it's fairly complicated.
Frustrating that every other platform has already adopted this integration and Weebly doesn't even know what I'm talking about.
Thanks for the response though.

How is the token passed to Facebook? It's not weird that there would be an access token, though how it's passed to Facebook is what determines whether you can add this now or if you have to wait. If it's part of any kind of client-side request then it's ok. If it's something that is meant to be server-side code then it would only be possible if we add it. I find the latter to be a pretty surprising approach because it creates an unnecessary hurdle for site owners.

Adam,
Weebly has no intention on adding Facebooks Conversion API from the server side at this point, correct?
The recent ios update renders the FB pixel pretty much useless.
Tough to understand Weebly's thought process on not implenting things to help ecommerce sites. I'm scrolling through the community and there are hundreds of things that have be "in the works" for YEARS. Simple things like shipping to Military addresses or providing a restock notifcation feature.

I have a client that uses Weebly. Just took over his account. Facebook Conversion Api it has been around for 4 months now and i find it very unusual that you guys are not informed well about this. My client spends thousands of dollars on advertisement and need to implement the Conversions API ASAP. Let us know if you guys can do something about it or not. In the end of the day should be a piece of cake for developers, you are not inventing the wheel. Please if you dont mind let me know if something will be done or i will be forced to transfer my clients website to other server.
Thank you,
Viktor Tato

I am also looking for a plugin to install the api for FB in my weebly sites.
If you dont do anything to let us do that, I will be migrating my sites to another plataform.
Your help will be appreciated, weebly.
It is urgent for optimizing our FB advertising.
Thanks in advance
