Baamboo Testimonial App / page load speed

G'day,

I installed a Baamboo Testimonial App and noticed my page was slower to load. I have a page of testimonials and used the App a hundred times on the page and it now times out (http://www.fitasaphysio.com/reviews.html).

Baamboo are saying the problem is Weebly's, not theirs.

There's a bit of work cutting and pasting the testimonials back to text elements to remove the app. Has anyone got any advice?

I think there are some other review/testimonial apps in the App Center, @Ferg. If that one wasn't working out well for you, you might want to try another one.

Do you think it's possible to have an element/app on a page hundreds of times if I want to display 200 testimonials?

Or will that cause problems no matter what the element is?

Hello Fergus!

Adding more elements will increase load times, and eventually can cut into site performance, given time. Simple elements, like text, should give you a much easier time than more complex apps. That said, if you can split up the content, it may help give things a more organized look, as well.

I installed a theme from Baamboo and didn't work at all.

I reached the support team (I don't actually believe it exists) like 4 times and they never got back to me or solved my problem.

It was a waste of money not to say a fraud!!!!!
