Online Store selling inventory past '0' how to do we fix? Invoicing not pulling out or inventory?
We have started really putting square online store through its paces with the COVID crisis. The online store is working well, with one exception. We have our store built like this:
Beer size is a purchase item, with variations being the beer type to buy. We update inventory on each variation of that item, either 473ml can or 950ml crowler.
The problems:
When we are out of an item and at '0' for inventory online customers can still order it. This problem is not consistent for all variations. Some tell the customer 'sold out' when inventory is a '0', and others do not.
We also have a problem with invoicing not pulling the item variation out of inventory when generating an invoice from the same online inventory items/variations.
Please help, it is a nightmare!

Something seems off - if you have a certain stock amount entered for each item variation, then your site should say 'sold out' and prevent customers from purchasing. This is definitely worth mentioning to our Ecomm Team in case you're running into a bug: squ.re/contact
As for the invoices bit - inventory does not deduct when you create/send an invoice. Only when
the invoice is paid will inventory auto adjust. This is a request we've been tracking on this thread
