weebly site: no notifications of orders and no stripe processing
All the sudden I stopped receiving email notifications of orders from my weebly online store. I was told to disconnect and reconnect to Stripe processing. I was able to disconnect but, unfortunately, it would not reconnect. Weebly said it was a bug with my site and they would need to work on it. Gave me no contact names and gave no eta. They said the only way to continue getting orders would be to connect with Square Processing. So, I was forced to connect with Square processing (which, from the stats I viewed on my dashboard, is charging 4% as opposed to the 2.9% stated in their advertising). The moment I connected with Square, the Stripe option disappeared from my dashboard so I can't retry it again. So, now I'm stuck with Square processing, I still do not get any email notifications, and I haven't heard a peep from weebly/square tech help regarding this issue with Stripe. Has this happened to anyone else?

@ydono1 ;
Square has different fees for charging Online sales. If you use a your Square Account to create your website your at the 2.9% plus per transaction fee, otherwise your linking your Website to Square to process your transactions at 3.3% plus per transaction fee.
With lower amounts the overall rate can be higher than the Stated rate because of adding the Fixed per transaction rate. For example on a $1.00 transaction you would have a 2.9 % fee Plus a per Transaction fee of 30 cents giving you a Net fee of 33% of the Transaction. (2.9 cents Plus 30 Cents = 32.9 or 33 cents rounded) This is why some businesses require a certain $ amount before accepting a Credit Card. The higher the $ processed, the closer you get to the 2.9% but you will never have the 2.9% because of the added 30 cents per Transaction fee. So with you at 4% overall fee that is getting close to that 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction fee rate that is advertised. Alot of people forget about the Transaction cost per Transaction of 30 cents.
I am not sure how you are setup with processing transaction on weebly, as a Linked transaction or through Square.
When a customer makes a purchase through your Square Online Store or eCommerce API the fee is 2.9% + 30 cents.

This is why it is so frustrating that I am forced to use Square. I was quite happy with Stripe and they didn't charge this much. And - I am still not getting order email notifications
