Dang the shipping rates system on the Weebly/Square platform is awful.
We sell a lot of stuff, as any mixed-retail place might, except we make most of our own stuff. One thing we don't make but do sell is a 5lb bag of coffee. It's great. But also heavier than a print when shipping, so it shouldn't be $6, it should be $12 (probably more, frankly).
ANYWAY - I thought I had it all figured out. Put in a specific WEIGHT for that item, that I assign a rule to that should only take effect when someone hits that perfect weight. Bam, should be easy.
NOPE. I just did a test purchase, and it offers up 3 different shipping options.
Looking at the rules, it seems to me that it should be fine for this purpose:
I have the 5lb bag of coffee in the store at 5.1 lbs, so it should trigger that weight option perfectly.
I can maybe kinda understand why the default shipping price is visible. I DO NOT understand why the "large print" option is visible - it should not be triggered in this situation.
WHY IS THIS HARD?! The old square platform had a stupidly simple system. Base rate, plus extra if you need it per item.
