Hello,
Today our printer refused to print the remaining items on an order ticket for one sale and then refused all together on a separate sale. The rest of the tickets are printing out fine, just those two random ones. I have tried restarting it, disconnecting/reconnecting it but it still won't print it from the transaction history for those two receipts. I want to iron out this inconsistency before we get busier. Is there a way to troubleshoot this so it doesn't randomly happen again?
Thanks,
Elena

Hello Elena, @eagleroastery !
If the glitch is only one of your tickets, I wouldn't worry too much about it. In 15+ years I've only had one or two times where my tickets had a similar issue.
The big troubleshooting steps I'd take are the usuals when something goes odd:
-Verify your app and device operating system are on the latest versions.
-Log out and log back in to your app. This will force the app to update all your data instead of relying on possibly outdated data on your device.
-If you can, try printing that order from another device to that same printer. If your printer is USB or bluetooth you won't be able to test this unfortunately)
If it starts to happen more consistently--which I doubt--then I'd call into support and have them dig into the back end of your account to see what's up.

Welcome to the community @eagleroastery!
It’s great to see you’ve already had some quality advice from one of our Square Champions - Thanks for that @ryanwanner!
If you’re still seeing inconsistencies after covering off the basics, this resource and its linked articles are a great starting point.
Should you need us to take a closer look after checking that out, just let us know the make and model of your printer and tell us a little more about your connection setup.
