double discount is adding to the price of an item!

Has anyone notice when a double discount or stacked discount is applied to an buy one get one free discounted item, that it actually add that percentage to the price of the item? I was doing a bogo sale on books, and noticed that when I added an additional discount (senior discount) to the books, it actually added $..15 to the cost of the free book. Is there a way to resolve this that doesn't involve manually removing the additional discount from the free item?

@Isabelle has anyone been able to replicate this?  I tried but I don't know the exact combinations they used and are seeing issues.

@SilverKeyThrift this may be a bit more complicated to try and diagnose here as we are other Square users supporting Square users.  Your best bet may be to call in to support and you can show them step by step the conditions and what happens and they can see your items and discounts etc.
