customer facing screen not closing out

I've been doing a beta with rotating images on the customer facing screen of the square register (not sure if this is related)...since I started this I've noticed that when a customer is finished with a transaction and a receipt is generated, the total of a customer's order is still being displayed on the customer-facing screen. I have to manually push some buttons on the register to make the Customer screen go back into rotating images. is this a known issue? I don't like having a customer's total still displaying when the next customer comes to the counter to pay.

This is an interesting one, for sure. Thanks for giving some good context to your issue as well. Have you checked to see if your Register is running the most up-to-date software? Usually a software reset nips some of these issues in the bud. 

Give that a try and let me know! I will be keeping an eye out for your response.

I think the register is set to auto update every night at 3am? I'll manually reboot and see if this continues. thanks!
