Why is my tax rate doubled at checkout?
The title of this post has been edited from the original: Double tax rate in checkout
I have set up tax rate for my location, 9.75%. Here is the screenshot of payment processing, and the tax rate is doubled. Can someone kindly help me find out how to solve the issue? Thank you!

Thanks for the screenshot, @Greeinjoy!
Taking a look above, it appears that you have two taxes enabled currently: 94587 and State Tax. If you edit the ZIP code specific tax, things should look as intended 😊
Head to your Online overview page > Settings > Taxes and click the Edit button next to the active tax rate. You should see a pop-up list of states, and their corresponding tax rates. Click Edit next to the active tax rate again, then look to see if you have any Rules applied. There are three rules that can be applied, but it seems as if you might have turned on the Add rule.
Add: Adds this rate to the country rate.
Instead: Replaces the country rate with this rate.
Compound: Compound tax rate is calculated based on the total of the order amount and country tax rate.
If you see a rule applied, you should be able to continue scrolling and see the Zip Codes section:
If you've entered any Zip codes into this section, the rule shown in the right-hand column should be applied to these Zip Codes. I hope this helps shine a light on why you're seeing a doubled up tax rate!
