Why is my Voyager 1200g not recognized on my iPad/Square Stand combo?

I have a Voyager 1200g scanner that I have been using on my Android tablet for years. I recently tried connecting it to my wife's iPad using the Square Stand. Not only does the Square POS not recognize the scanner, it doesn't even power up when I plug it into the usb accessory hub. I know the hub is good because I can plug a generic scanner in and it will power up (but it isn't recognized by Square POS either). I absolutely hate ios and avoid it at all costs for just this kind of reason but I need to get this working for my wife.

Thank you for posting in the Seller Community.

 

According to our compatibility list, the Voyager 1200g should be compatible with a stand. Have you tried reinstalling the Square app or performing any system updates?
