Why are notes not showing up on order shipping details?

I rely on the Notes from check out from customers but now they do not show up anymore. I would usually see them under "All orders" > clicking on an order > under "Shipment details." It's been about a month since it stopped showing up and now I have to look in the emails sent for each order to view the "Note" easier. I am hoping someone else knows how to fix this!
