I can't transfer out my money from my account. It says I have an available balance of $830 and it won't let me transfer out anything it says transfers unavailable at this time. Why is it doing this?

I understand that you're not missing a transfer but are having trouble initiating one. The troubleshooting steps for both issues are quite similar, so the guide provided should still be relevant. This is a great starting point to resolve any issues you're seeing.

Hi Jason, I had a similar issue last month. SellerCommunity recommended contacting support directly through the platform. They were able to resolve it within a few hours. Hope this helps! Perhaps you could also check out some resources on "The Healing Journey" for sellers, as they might offer additional advice or support.

First, welcome to the community! This is a great spot to chat about all things Square!
You didn't mention how old your account is with Square, so I'm going to go under the assumption that you just signed up.
Square (and all other processors) have to go through a series of checks to verify a new business is legitimate. This does mean that funds are held for a longer period at first just to make sure that there isn't anything shady going on. Usually funds are released within 5-7 business days. As you process more and all the verification checks come back good, funds get released more quickly. As long as everything is on the up and up, in less than a month you'll get your transfers regularly depending on how you have them configured on the Transfers section of the dashboard.
If you have been doing business with Square for a while and there's a hold on your funds, then something tripped a switch on the servers. Your best bet then is what @daphne_colson said: contact support and see what needs to happen to make things right.

Hi Jason; This is the 3rd time our business funds have been frozen by Square! This time it is for a CBD application I filled out 11 days ago! We are a Beauty Supply. We sell CBD shampoo/conditioner/lotion. That is all. I requested live assistance DAILY for the past 11 days. All bills are bouncing. I FINALLY found a senior rep who walked me through completing the application last night. She confirmed it was complete. She submitted it to the internal team as escelated. I was 3rd in line this morning to have the review complete & funds released. Instead, they deleted my completed application & asked me to start over with no explaination. NOW they say my website advrtizes CBD that I did not list. HEMPZ lotion has zero CBD so I CANNOT get a certificate of analysis for it & they won't release my funds until they receive something that does NOT exist. My advice to all Square checking and merchant services customers is to find a higher quality business that does not do this to its customers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
