I have deleted and reinstalled the App. I continue to have to open it from the App Store

what phone do you have?  if you have installed it there isn't a reason that it shouldn't be there.  maybe it is in a folder?

iPhone.  I had it on there at one point and removed it.  I use it for our Not-for-Profit.  I have looked through all the folders it is not there.

@Gwyn Can you try opening the app from the App Store? So, tap on the App Store icon > search for 'Square Point of Sale' > tap Open (or you might see Update, when you've updated then tap Open).

When you open the app, tap the home button on your iPhone to close the app and when it closes you should see exactly where the app is on your phone!
