The card reader won't stay plugged into my Samsung Galaxy S7

The Square card reader won't stay plugged into my Samsung Galaxy S7. It literally falls out of the headset jack.

Don't know if this is the answer, but I had the same issue with my iPhone. There was pocket lint stuck in the jack. I took a pin and cleaned it out and it worked.

Sorry to hear that, have you had any luck checking the headphone jack, @kristensmony? As @Blvdrent suggested, it sounds like something is preventing the reader from plugging in all the way. When you plug it in, there should be a small click and it will be quite snug. Let us know!

Thanks so much. I tried both things and it finally works! Yay (no more keying in cr cd #s).

I had the same problem.  My husband suggested using canned air instead of sticking a pin in the phone.  The air worked perfectly.
