Star TSP100 Printer not being recognized by square stand?
I’ve had the square stand with cash drawer for 2 years now and recently purchased a used Star TSP 100 ECO printer. I plugged it into usb block port 2 and square stands recognized it but says “Device Not Supported”. I have tried deleting the app and restored the iPad. What now??

It should work, I'm wondering if there is a possibility that it is broken in some way that it can't communicate correctly with the Square Stand. The ECO model is a bit different in that it doesn't have a power switch it turns itself on and off when the Square stand tells it to print or pop the cash drawer.
You can try calling Square Support and see if they can step you thru a process to get it to connect correctly.

VanKalkerFarms: Thanks for the info, I do know that there is a plate under the printer that houses 2 small switches labeled 1 and 2 I wonder if they have to be switched a certain way to work properly? Thanks again!

it is possible that whatever system the previous owner of the printer had used different settings for those dip switches than the factory setting. I don't see any reference to any switches on the bottom in the manual.
There is a sleep/activate switch on the back that could be in the wrong position.

I am having the same issues with both my TSP100 Eco version printers as well. We dont use the printers much but they were both working a few months ago until recently. I followed all the support and tips but the printers are still not being recognized by the square pos. The power light is on and no error lights are visible. When I hook both printers to the square USB hub the printers printed the self test page, but still dont get recognized by square POS. I am thinking if the firmware on the printers need an update to work with the latest version of Square POS? Thoughts anyone? Thank you!

Hey @SeafoodCajun,
There can be several reasons why your stand is not reading the printer. This issue can be related to your Square hub not working, your hardware not being properly connected, or your printer station. Here you can see how to connect your hardware to a USB printer.
However, I recommend giving us a call so our hardware team can walk you through specific troubleshooting steps.
