So when our square terminal drops internet and reconnects the software doesn't seem to recognize that the terminal is online again. It continues in offline mode unless you restart. This only started after the recent firmware upgrade. How do I remedy this as we are a very busy ice cream shop and it really disrupts our flow.

I really don't want to use it with a hub and ethernet connection.
I also don't think that I really need an router amplifier. The dropouts are not very frequent but do happen once or twice a week.

Hi @ptf - you definitely shouldn't need to connect your Terminal via Ethernet. When you mentioned 'restarting' your device, do you mean a reboot (turn off and on) or a factory reset ?
