Slow sync between Square for Retail and Online Store

Hey Square!

 

Any idea why there's such a lag between when I create a new item in my Square for Retail inventory and when it's available for my online store?? This is REALLY causing issues now that we're selling almost exclusively online and I can't add products fast enough!

I'm having the exact same problem!  Items I entered into Square are not showing up on the online store.  Started happening yesterday.  I called this afternoon and they are going to check with the engineers.  Still waiting to hear back.

@SmartyPantsJane @littleflower Sorry you're both experiencing this lag. I haven't heard of this happening with other sellers.

 

@littleflower Would you mind coming back to share what our team has to say after they've checked in with the engineers? It would be helpful for anyone else who might be experiencing this, too.

Sure.  The problem seems to have resolved itself last night.  Maybe it's a cloud issue?  But it has happened intermittently in the past.
