SSL-Not Secure

I changed the domain name for my site and now it appears as "Not Secure." It's been over 48hr since the site has been live. I created the site with Weebly. My understanding is that Square provides SSL automatically. Do I need to make changes with the domain provider (Namecheap) or si there something I need to do within Weebly? Thanks for any help.

Hi Ketcom,

Probably your best course of action is to contact Tech Support as the Community is not the same as Tech Support - the members here cannot view someone's account setup.  Most of the Community members are small business owners and there's lots of experience with business related Square questions however, there are times when you need someone from the technical side of things to look at your setup.  Square does provide your SSL Cert automatically if you're setting up a site from scratch and using the URL that's assigned however, I believe the steps are a bit different when you are transferring a Domain Name from one host to another.  That's the extent of my techie knowledge.

Hi there, @ketcom

My advice here would be to reach out to Square support like @JK_Fiber_Art has suggested as they will probably give you some guidance on what settings need to be adjusted on the domain provider's side.

Most of the time, the DNS records are not pointing to the site you have built correctly, causing for it to say "not secure". Our Support Team will be able to recognize what is going on and get you in the right direction. 😀

I hope this helps!
