Review/export both online orders AND point-of-sale (card swipe) orders

Hello.  My homeowners association is fairly new to Square.  We have been accepting dues online for a couple years, and folks really like the convenience.  This year, we also decided to use the dongle at our Annual Meeting to enable members who have not yet paid to swipe their card and pay their dues.  That also worked very nicely.  However, when I go in and look at the orders online, I am seeing only the online orders.  I also am able to export all of those online orders, but I do not see any of the point of sale orders.  How do I go about seeing the transactions where folks swiped their cards? And is there a place where I can see (and preferably export) ALL orders/transactions?  Thank you!

Hey there, @ScottShores

 

Are you looking at your Square Dashboard? If so, you can look at Reporting. It will list all of the transactions no matter which form of payment they come from. 

 

Another option would be to look under Transactions too! Make sure you're staying on the main Dashboard and not going into the Square Online Dashboard. 

 

Give that a look and let me know if you're still missing those transactions. I will keep an eye out for your reply👀

Hi Kassi,

 

Thanks for your reply!  Unfortunately, it is not showing the one physical swipe we had.  Online we charge $77.55, and we get $75.  But the physical swipe is a different charge, so we charged $77.55 but actually got $75.43.  That one $75.43 is not showing up in any of the transactions.  I've double and triple checked, both desktop and online.  Also, I need to be able to export ALL the transactions; the desktop app does not appear to show as much detail as the online version, and there's an export option with online which doesn't appear to be available with the desktop transactions or reports.  It's just strange that this one charge would not show up.   Any thoughts?  Thank you, Kassi!

@ScottShores ,

From your computer dashboard instead of going to Reports go to Transactions and there you can Export your Transaction reports.   You have 3 choices to Export  ( Transactions, Details, and summary) these are in a csv file format.  I am not sure if this includes both Online or only the Swipe type transactions since I do not use Squares Online Website for my business.
