Reader can't plug in due to protective phone case which can't be removed

I have a waterproof/dustproof protective case on my Samsung 8 that can not be removed each time I swipe because 

a- it's air tight and a challenge to take off and put back on

b-it loses effectiveness if it's frequently removed and replaced

What adapter is recommended to plug in? I am not willing to pay for a wireless reader at this time.

I can understand why you'd like to keep you case on (I'm always dropping my device) but you're right the magstripe reader might not be able to fully connect if the case is very thick. 

Audio jack extenders or extension cables aren’t officially supported so we can’t guarantee compatibility -- but some merchants have had success with this card reader adapter.
