Problem with my set up

Hi, I'm new to Square. Am trying to finalise my account set-up to enable the card reader to take card payments and it keeps failing on the company structure page.
There's an error message.
I have tried 10 times now to complete the information.
I have tried every permutation of partner, person with controlling interest etc.
Every time I get a SOMETHING WENT WRONG message.
My bank account is verified so I don't get the problem here.
What can I do as I need to be able to take card payments?

Hey @TheGalleon! Welcome to Square's Seller Community, thanks for flagging this to us.

 

That definitely does sound strange alright. Have you been able to complete the setup of your account on your dashboard through a browser app such as Google Chrome or Safari? Sometimes it's best to finalize your account on a computer rather than the app.  

 

Also, have you clicked the confirmation link sent to your email address when setting up? The account won't be fully set up until this is completed either. 

 

Additionally, it could be an issue with the app itself. Please try the following troubleshooting steps

 

  1. Check that both your mobile device and the Square app are up to date.
  2. Log out and back into the app.
  3. Turn your mobile device off and on.
  4. Force quit and reopen the app on your device.
  5. Delete and reinstall the app. See Apple’s support site and Google’s support site for instructions on how to do so.
  6. Make sure that the date and time on your device are correct.
