So when I close my POS register drawer remotely (I have 2) it says closed in Square but when I go back to the actual POS register the drawer is still open? This is allowing cashier to be able to continue working on the previous day's drawer and is causing issues when trying to balance drawers for the day. Is their a setting that needs to be changed so this will work like it is supposed to? I also have tablets that I am using to do sales as well when they are remotely closed the next time you get on tablet to start drawer it says that previous drawer has been remotely closed. Why am I not getting similar message on register?

Are you attempting to end the cash drawer remotely or close it?
Note: Ending a cash drawer is different than closing a cash drawer. When closing a cash drawer, you are recording the actual amount when ending the drawer. Ending a cash drawer is simply clicking “End Drawer”. Keep in mind: You will not be able to pay in/out when you end a drawer remotely.
