Our Square app stopped recognizing our dual function (slide or insert) reader.

We tested Thursday and made several successful transactions using cards with chips.  Today the Square app doesn't recognize the dual function readers. Only advises to Swipe - not Insert. Swiping doesn't process the transaction. Why would the app have stopped recognizing the reader properly as it did two days ago? Have tried rebooting our iPad (same one we used successfully), deleting and re-installing Square, setting our volume to middle setting as per troubleshooting tips.  Can anybody help.  We're frustrated!

If you've gone through the troubleshooting, I would probably recommend reaching out to our Customer Success team directly to go over any that you might not of done yet and so you can address this ASAP to get it working. Follow this link: squ.re/contact and go through the flow of trying to find your issue. If you click > I Don't See My Issue, it will give you an option to call our Customer Success team as long as you're logged in.
