Off cycle payment initiated; timecards still in payroll

In an attempt to get employees paid faster, since we are now temporarily closed, I ran an off-cycle payroll. My regular payroll is due tonight, but when I import timecards (there is still one employee), all the other timecards are still there. The off cycle isn't supposed to deposit into my employees accounts until tomorrow. Should I wait until then and try to re-import time cards?

Welcome to the Community @sfrantz56  👋

Have you ensured the correct dates are selected and also tried re-importing the timecards? Let me know so I can loop in the Payroll Team.

I just did both things you mentioned. They're still in there for 3/8-3/21.

I did get a chance to speak with Payroll on the phone yesterday, and they said the timecards would go away... but they're still there today.

Thanks for trying again @sfrantz56. I surfaced your issue to the Payroll Team so they can lend a hand. I'll back when I get a response or you can call the Payroll Team if you need immediate help. Let them know your issue still persists and that the previously imported time-cards will not go away.

Back to help !

I just got word from Payroll, and they want to know if tried these steps:

  1. Log in to the Payroll section of your online SquareDashboard or Square Payroll app > Pay Employees > Regular Payroll.
  2. Enter 0’s for all your employee’s hours and click Continue.
  3. Ensure all adjustments are also set to 0 on the Adjustments page and click Continue.
  4. You will see a message confirming you would like to Mark Payroll Period as Empty. Once you click on the Confirm Zero Pay button, you will be able to process your off-cycle payment.
Keep me looped in!
