Not Available

I have read other threads about this but none of that has helped. In the customer view, all of my items show Not Available where it should say Add to Cart. I have tried to go back over all the information and it looks correct. I could be missing something though.

Please help!

Thanks!

Hello @Crafted4Cats !

Ugh, these Not Available errors are some of the trickiest to track down. I'll run through all the troubleshooting steps that I've found work, my apologies if we're repeating things you've already tried.

  • Publishing glitch. Try unpublishing your site, waiting 5 minutes, then republishing it. It may clear up the error just by re-syncing the data.
  • Fulfillment: This is the usual culprit for these errors. Check Dashboard -> Account & Settings -> Fulfillment. Make sure Pickup and Delivery are configured the way you want it. Even if you're not offering shipping make sure everything is correct here as well. Then, make sure each item you have listed matches your preferences in the Fulfillment section. Sooooo many times there is an item that is eligible for shipping when the site isn't configured for shipping. That throws this error. You can adjust fulfillments in batches by selecting multiple items in your item library, then hit Edit->Set fulfillment.
  • Item Type. For Shop All pages (like the one you have), I've seen times where various items with the Food and Beverage item type can throw errors. Make sure all your items' types are the same (the exception being events and donations, of course). Unfortunately, there is no way to adjust an item type once the item is created. You'll have to delete the item and start over.
  • Missing Modifiers. This is usually seen on an individual item level instead of site wide, but check to see if you have a mandatory modifier group that isn't being seen on the online side.

At this point, I'd recommend marking every item as not visible on your site except one. If you still see the Not Available error, then it's more than likely a site configuration issue. If it works, incrementally add items and check until the error is thrown. Then you know it's one of the recently added items that's causing the problem and you can troubleshoot that item.

I hope this helps!
