My stand-alone chip card reader has stopped connecting to my Samsung tablet it is fully charged.

The reader is fully charged. The tablet is Android. It used to connect just fine. I last used it about 2 months ago. When I went to use it yesterday, it did not connect.

Hey @barbaraz,

Welcome to the Seller Community—really sorry to hear about the trouble with your reader connection. I went to check, and everything should be performing as expected.🧐 It looks like a few sellers brought up a similar issue here, and found an answer: What are the troubleshooting steps for the Contactless and Chip Card Reader?

Have a look at Kelly's reply and let us know if it helps clear this up.

I was poking around in the tablet settings, and found that it was unaware of the reader.  I then pulled up Square on my phone, and the phone had no problem connecting.  So the problem was with the tablet. Then I went back to the tablet, and a little while later, the reader appeared in the bluetooth list.  Who knows why...

Glad you were able to get it sorted out! Hmm—sometimes Bluetooth connections can be a bit temperamental. If it keeps happening, let us know.
