Multiple Browsers and Devices: Not Accepting Payment at This Error with Square Online

I apologize if this is the wrong board to report this bug but I notice that some times on initial load of my site when a product is selected for purchase there is a message that says not accepting payments at this time. After a simple browser refresh this goes away.

I have experienced this personally in the following browsers

 

safari

chrome

edge 

Internet explore 

firefox

 

i have also had customers contacting me directly letting me know of this issue. I have tried multiple test using different hardware, operating system and browsers but am unable to isolate the bug. Sorry to be general but I can provide more details on steps and processes used.
