Missing Online Store orders - payment information reset

I have been using the Online Store for the past 6 weeks. Every single day, several orders would go missing and not show up on my end.  Customers reported that after they finish typing all the payment information, all the credit card boxes would reset to 0 (zeros).  They thought that the payment already completed so they didn't think much of it, but they also didn't receive any notification to let them know if their transaction failed or completed either. 

 

What could cause this problem?

Welcome back to our Seller Community. Sorry this is happening. If your customers are using PayPal to check out and they go back to the main site’s page and everything is wiped out - that’s due to them not accepting a cookie banner. If they’re staying on the site and just entering in card information and that’s going missing, there may be something off.  If possible, I would suggest asking your customers what method of payment they are using. If this continues please let us know, we may have to escalate your account to take a further look.

All customers were using mobile phones to make orders on the online store website.  There were several cases where I stood next to them while they type in the credit card numbers, address, etc...After they hit complete, the page just refreshed and all the boxes reset to 0s.  There was no indication that the transaction was successful or not.    No one was using PayPal during those instances.  

 

Perhaps it could be due to weak cell phone data signal?
