Loyalty Program "per visit" Loophole
Is the loyalty program "rewrad per visit" actually a "reward per transaction"? I had a table of individuals this weekend that would "close their tab" after EACH beer. (Do not ask me why) So, while sitting there, each person received a star for each beer they had because we are set up to reward per visit.
I am assuming that this is not our best way to reward because if they make two or more transactions in the same day and / or same visit, they will be rewarded PER TRANSACTION NOT PER VISIT. (by day) Correct?

The "Per Visit" means per transaction at the $amount set. So you are correct if you do multiple transactions then this could be an issue. You could change it based on amount spent instead of per visit. Then when they reach $XX it will give them a reward.

Square needs to add a cool down time for each visit or this loyalty program is useless. You will get customers making multiple small purchases to earn many rewards points, but if you can make it 1 (or how every many visits per how ever long you choose) visits a day it will stop that.
