This week I've noticed on two separate occasions that when I go to scan an item that I know was in inventory, nothing comes up. When I go to the square dashboard and try to find the item, after lots of digging it shows that it was deleted even though no one deleted it. It is incredibly frustrating to have this happen and there is no way that I have found to track down all the items that have randomly been deleted. Square, is this a bug? Is there any way to fix it?

And here I am on the phone with support after noticing it happen again. Its very frustrating when things like this keep happening but square keeps updating fairly trivial things instead of making their code work better.

Also having this happen... It's happened on multiple occasions, but now I know it isn't just me.
Put an item in yesterday, used a PO, printed the label. Today, scan the label "item doesn't exist"
I have the label. I have the item in a PO. The item is listed as received. No one touched the item after.
At least make this known to people that this is happening and say you're working to fix it/ what causes it!

This is happening to me as well, (items randomly deleting), and it is very frustrating. The ability to create and keep items is a very mandatory and basic feature for this application. If this basic function does not work correctly then this software is essentially useless. I'm not sure I can continue with this for my business. This is very frustrating and equally time consuming. Please make this bug known and please deploy a fix as soon as possible.
