Item Not-Available

When people are checking out on my site the item says "non-available" in the blue box where there is usually the price, I have never had this happen before, how do I fix it?

@RMAAZ You'll need to go to your online store and find the item that people are saying says its not available. Click the item and you should see 3 options (Visisble- Hidden- Unavailable) Make sure the visible option is selected. And save!

I have this same issue. The item for purchase on my store just randomly will say "Not Available" on the button that normally says "Add To Cart".  The item is listed as Visible and always has.  Sometimes you can refresh the browser and then the Not Available is removed. But sometimes it takes time for Add To Cart to be available.  It's frustrating. There is no telling if I have lost sales because of this. I'd love to know how to permanently fix this problem.

Hello @jsnee, is the issue happening with the link you provided above? I just clicked it and had no issues, I added a few other items, and the same thing, I didn't run into a problem and was able to add to checkout.

hello sorry for the trouble, but I would like to know whether or not you solved the problem. because to me from the same error. the article is marked as visible, but when I enter on the site tells me not available. I don’t understand how to fix it all if someone kindly help me because I don’t hide anymore, I tried in all ways.

Were you able to try the steps @Lovewell mentioned in your Online Store Dashboard? Also, double check there is currently a stock for the item too.

I'm having this same issue and none of the above helps because I can have two transactions without issue, and then a customer will message me with "the item is showing unavailable". I will make no changes (because I was not available) and then another customer order would come in. WHY? I am losing sales and giving customers a poor experience.

Do you have stock added to those items that aren't showing on your site? 

 

This could cause issues for your customers to be able to see them. Also, do you have the items synced to your Dashboard Item Library too?

I am having this EXACT same same problem on our square site. Customers see Not Available or NaN on our items.

Please help me fix this problem. Our items are saved as "visible." I am unsure as to why this is happening.

inventory for this product is available, VISIBLE is selected. The other product in this store is indeed out of stock, but not this one. Thanks for your help!

In order for items to show as available so they can be added to your customers cart, three criteria must be met:

 

1. The item must be in stock, so stock needs to be set to at least 1. Once stock is depleted, the item will show as "Not Available", so make sure this is not the case, unless the item really is out of stock.

 

2. The visibility of the item must be set to "Visible". Make sure you didn't click "Hidden" or "Unavailable" by accident.

 

3. The fulfillment method must be specified for the product. If some of your products use different fulfillment methods, you'll want to make sure the correct fulfillment method is selected for each product. If all of your products use the same fulfillment method, make sure you set that method up across the entirety of your store.

Should the stock be set to some arbitrary number if I use a print-on-demand service?  I use printful, so I never have physical items “in stock”.

Hey, there @Nice_train!

 

If you are using Printful then you should not be adding items to your Square Online site from the Square side but from Printful. Printful, in your case will be the one to track your inventory.  You can learn more here.
