Issue with "custom feature"

My login page says I need to remove a "custom feature" which my basic plan does not allow for. That feature is the custom domain name itself. However, this is the domain name I have always had. I am not sure why it is not permitted now, a year after it has been in use. My site is paid for through 2026 with a valid payment source. Please advise at your earliest convenience. Thanks!

Having your site connected to a custom domain is a paid feature, so you will need to select one of our plans for your custom domain to redirect to your site. 

Our plans changed some time ago and notifications about the changes started going out last year. Some users were still subscribed to the old plans and are starting to get alerts to select one of our new plans, since their current one has expired or will be expiring soon. 

Even if your domain has been paid, you'll need to select a paid plan to be able to connect that custom domain.
