Is there a way to add a catalog to my website for a customer to scan and make purchases
I am selling a third party product and they have a catalog of their merchandise, I'd like to add it to my website for individuals to make purchases from the catalog, is this possible?

Hi SharperR,
I'm thinking what you have in mind is not possible unless you add the items from the catalog to your Square Online Item List. The same is true with any service (shopping cart) one would be using, not just Square.

@SharpeR ;
I would see if your Supplier could send you there catalog as a CSV file.
If they can you can manually copy there Item Number, SKU, or GTIN into the appropriate column for your Square catalog. Same with Item Name, Cost, Sale Price, Tax, Vendor.... the only thing you can not do is their Image. Images for Square have to be uploaded differently and not in the csv.
By doing this the Online customer would be ordering from YOUR catalog which also contains your suppliers items with your pricing.
If you are good with CSV files there are tools and formulas that can automatically merge these two catalogs based on their headers.
So what you want to do is possible, but not straight forward as you think. Each catalog of items for stores may have different orders for their csv files or maybe different names for the same item. Square calls Items in the csv Items and in the catalog, Other catalog my call Items Products for example. The thing you need to make sure of is that 1 column has a Unique value for each Item, square calls this a Token. The Token value in Square is assigned to all new items by Square when creating a new item. Now each item or product you sell online would also need a Unique SKU or GTIN to differentiate it from other items you sell.
So what I would do to try this is:
Make an Item Widget for example in your Square Dashboard. Fill out as much information as you can that is similar to the catalog you want to import. Item SKU cost selling price description etc... Then you will have a template for the new catalog you want to import to Square.
