Curious how much other businesses lost during the square outage and what Square is going to do about this. Generic promises to make it better in the future don't give me any real confidence, nor do they make my customers feel confident that I will be able to take their payments.
We missed out on several thousand dollars due to this mess and I'm sure others were hit even harder. How bad was it for everyone else?

Thankfully we had an alternate method for card payments we could switch to but it wasn't ideal. However it did cost me extra payroll hours as my one employee had to stay longer to help the newer employee, not to mention the initial troubleshooting we did before we realized it was a Square problem.
