How do i make it so products sync from WooCommerce to my POS system,
BUT stock management is still with woocommerce. Even when i turn tracking off at the sqaureup site, it still will not let me control stock quantity on the website through woocommerce - it says "SYNCED WITH SQUARE" and "Stock must be fetched from Square before editing stock quantity"

Heya

Thanks for writing in with this question! From taking a look at the WooCommerce integration doc - find it here - it looks like the item sync goes both ways when you sell an item, meaning that sales on WooCommerce will be reflected on Square, and vice versa. However, your new stock would have to be entered via Square. While Square integrates with third-party websites, keep in mind that the integration itself is managed by WooCommerce, rather than Square so it would be a good idea to get in touch with their support team to share this as feedback.

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any other questions!

But if that’s the case, and the stock count is only 1, woocommerce will still let more than 1 be sold because the website thinks there’s more in stock since the stock management is being held at square instead of woocommerce level. That makes no sense and is very counterintuitive.

I'd definitely recommend reaching out to WooCommerce support in this case, so they can take a closer look at your sync settings and potentially troubleshoot further. You should not be able to sell more stock than you have on hand via your website, @PicKFishPets
