How do I change the site title of my Online Store?

The title of this thread has been changed from the original: Online Store: How do I change the words 'My Site' at the top of my store?

 

So I created an item for my store. How do I change the words My Site at the top of my store?

Hi @jfollette, the answer here is going to depend on whether you're using the older version of our Online Store, or the Online Store powered by Weebly. If you're using Weebly, check out their site settings support article.

 

If you're using our older Online Store, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Online Store page and select your Online Store.

2. You should end up here, and in the top right-hand corner, you'll see a Store Editor option - go ahead and select that.
3. You can change the information that appears on your Online Store right from this page.

I guess I am referring to online checkout vs the online store. How do I change the words My Site at the top of the item that is being checked out?

From your Square Online Store dashboard, go to Website > Site Settings and you should see the option there to change your site title, @jfollette.

I saw some discussion from years ago about email receipts not displaying properly from Donations, but I was wondering if anyone has solved this problem.  We are a non-profit, and when someone donates to us, the receipt displays "My Site" and is not picking up the formatted receipt that is set up in Square settings

Hey there @HeritageSociety. Thanks for writing in! 

 

Where is the "My Site" showing on the receipt? Do you have an example that you can screenshot and share here? It sounds like you may need to change the name of your business in the Locations section of the Dashboard.

 

Anyway, I'd love to see where that "My Site" text is showing up so that we can better pinpoint why this might be happening. I'll keep an eye out for your response!

I am seeing the same problem. Here's a screen shot. This is on the email sent to the payee.

I am seeing a similar issue, but mine is happening on "Collect a Payment". It says "My Business" instead of "My Site" in this thread. I have checked everywhere to change it and it is nowhere to be found. All the links you provided do not help.

 

See images below...The first image shows the email receipt...I would like it to say You paid Zapmoto in the subject line. Then show Zapmoto instead of "My Business" in the body of the email. Very unprofessional. The other images show that my site name is Zapmoto. When you go to the Online Store -> Overview, you see "My Business".

 

How do we fix this?

Eeek, In this case,  I would reach out to our Ecom Team so they can file a ticket for Engineers to look at. @zapmoto
