I’m having a problem connecting my epson tm-t88v Bluetooth printer to my square app. I have gone through all the various troubleshooting methods and nothing. My sales rep informed me that this printer was compatible with square. Is there a way to connect these or is it not compatible?

Hi @Sunnyup, thank you for reaching out and I'm sorry for the confusion. When it comes to Epson Bluetooth printers, we only support the Epson TM-m10 at this time. If you're getting set up with an iPad, we keep a full list of supported hardware here: Supported Hardware for iPads. I hope this helps clear things up for now.
Again, I apologize for the frustration. Please do keep in touch as we'll announce any updates for newly supported hardware.

Hi,
I found this thread just now and am having the same problem connecting to the Epson TM-T88VI as well. Is it still not supported at this time? I am using the iPad to connect (using Bluetooth).
Thank you.

Hi @AMN! The Epson TM-T88VI isn't on our list of compatible hardware. But we have a wide range of options to look through!

Hi @nika , I am finding this page because I am also having trouble connecting the Square POS app to the TM-T88VI bluetooth printer. It IS currently on the list of compatible hardware, and I only purchased this printer because of that fact. I have been emailing with Square support for several days and they cannot seem to figure out what the issue is. Does anyone here have an update on this matter or any information as to whether this printer is incorrectly listed on the current list of compatible devices? If so I am out $300 and am still in need of a working printer.

Hey @KingstonBread . Sorry you're having trouble. Continuing to work with our CS team on this issue would be the best route to go to get to a resolution. I hope they're able to get to the bottom of it with you.

Hello @amandastapes
The list linked above is updated constantly to include new hardware options.
It looks like this particular model has been compatible for some time, but the Bluetooth connection was not possible until recently.
If you are having issues, you can reach out to our support team.
Thank you ✨
