Customer display malfunctioning with chip cards
Hello all. Having a really hard time with my Square customer display a couple days in a row now. Customers inserting a chip card are prompted twice to reinsert, then prompted to swipe. Sometimes the swipe works, sometimes it discards payment. Have done two full factory resets, the second with the customer display unplugged until the software update began. Oddly, both factory resets, though only about three hours apart, prompted a software update.

Hey @Knoxbanedoodle Can you confirm the device you're using?
None of the cleaning instructions have details about cleaning *inside* the chip reader, so approach anything to do with that with a lot of caution (and no liquids!) but it's worth having a look in that area to see of you've got any debris in there.
