Citi Debit Cards Not Going Through

Recently, Citi Debit Cards have been declining - anyone also experiencing this and/or have any advice?

Firstly, could you confirm if this issue occurs for anyone using a Citi Bank Debit card, or is it specific to certain customers each time?

There are various reasons why a card may decline, and we've outlined the types of messages you may encounter on your point of sale when this happens in our online guide. I recommend referring to it as your first step, as we're unable to view the exact reasons cards may be declined. Our general advice is for the customer to contact their card-issuing bank if they've confirmed that funds are available on the card.

If you're encountering a different message on your point of sale altogether, please inform us in your reply.

I have been having the same issues. Only with Citibank cards with 2 separate customers in recent weeks. And tbh it could have started a couple of months ago with another client. I had to enter the recent cards manually and then it was fine. But I do not wish to have extra processing fees for each transaction. There is definitely an issue with this particular bank card syncing with Square.
