Checkout

After the latest update all of my categories are not in alphabetical order and it makes checkout so hard! 
I have searched all over settings… please HELP!

To sort your Categories:

Go to your Square Dashboard > Items > Inventory Management > Categories.

then on the Right side there is a Button you can press Rearrange.

Then you will have Up and Down arrows that you can tap ONCE, wait for the Category to move Up or Down depending which Arrow you pressed.... Then repeat till you get the category where you want it.

 

Now if you want on your Square Stand You can Rearrange these there too by Holding down on a category then the Screen will change and ask if you want to edit these and you can drag them in an order with in reason.  Another way to edit this is to Press the Menu buttom in the bottom Right..... then I forget off the top of my head what you press but I think It is settings the Edit Screen or something.  Sorry I am not infront of my Square stand for this.   

 

Here is an older article about this that I was trying to help someone with last year or so.   But as you can see the screens are all different with the continuous updates by Square.  Which is another reason I forget the current terms for doing this.
