Can't link square space account to Square. i know m password. not working

Hi, I have been trying to connect my square space account to square so that I can accept credit cards on my account, but it keeps saying that the password is wrong. It is not wrong because I can log into my square account with my email and password just fine. I'm not sure why it is not linking. Please help! Thank you!
