Beware Google Adwords "Automated Extensions" when serving Square store as your landing page.
I have been working with Google Adwords on a solution for this for sometime. Their response is of course, tough luck.
To help protect other Square users and find others who have encountered a similar issues I wanted to discuss this openly.
Basically here is what happens.
If you serve a square store as your landing page on Google Adwords, (which I love to do because they have such a high conversion rate)
Please do not turn on the "Automated Extensions" on any Google Adwords while using a Square Store as your landing page. The reasoning is this. Google will, instead of serving your intended Square Store link, start serving ads for Square's home page.
During my negotiations with Google I created the following youtube video and click through presentation. This glitch within adwords cost me over $1200 and if I can help just one other small business avoid this mistake then this post is worth it.

Also here is a PDF clickstring that I made for Google when I showing them the issue exists. Google Adwords Square Store Clickstring
If you are currently running Google's Automated Extensions on your Adwords and your landing page is a square store Google will serve links to square's homepage including
https://squareup.com/us/en/app-marketplace
https://squareup.com/us/en/software/gift-cards
https://squareup.com/pos/employee-management
https://www.google.com/shopping/ratings/account/metrics?q=squareup.com&c=us&v=2
My best advice is turn off "Automated Extensions" on Google Adwords if you serve a Square Seller Store because they will charge you for traffic sent to square's pages instead of your own.
